Charlene Soraia @ Lancaster Library

Charlene Soraia is an alternative folk singer from London town.  Charlene appeared on our radar early in 2011 and she has already self released 3 EP’s (Daffodils & Other Idylls March 08, Postcards From iO June 2008 and One Of The Sun January 2009) plus debut single When We Were Five was released August 2010 on Seesaw Records.

Since covering 'Wherever you will go', the track you've probably heard on the Twinnings Tea advert, Charlene has achieved some mainstream success and the track peaked at number 7 in the UK Singles Chart.  Her debut album 'Moonchild' was released on 28 November 2011 and is coinciding with this is a UK tour.  So get yourself down to Lancaster Library to see Charlene take to the library stage.
